Sensonics vibration monitoring systems offer a range of both contact and non-contact techniques for accurate measurement of absolute and relative vibration on critical machines and infrastructure. Our sensors are available in a range of output configurations (acceleration, velocity or 4-20mA); combined with our established vibration monitoring and protection equipment they offer high integrity measurements with flexible alarm facilities.

Sentry API670 Monitoring and Protection System

The Sensonics API670 compliant Sentry range of rack mounted equipment has been developed to provide a one-stop shop for all your measurement requirements. A range of units are available offering absolute (bearing) vibration, relative (shaft) vibration and dual mode (barring / running speed) eccentricity measurement regimes. The Sentry monitoring system is particularly suitable for large turbine generator sets where the vibration monitoring forms part of the essential Turbine Supervisory System.

Aegis Monitoring and Protection System

The Aegis system offers similar measurement capabilities to Sentry but in a lower cost rack mounted package. A range of units are available offering standard absolute and relative vibration measurements; a special bearing condition option is available incorporating an enveloping technique for roller bearing applications.

The system utilises a shared display located in the instrument rack with single channel cards for each of the required measurement channels. The Aegis monitoring system is suitable for a range of rotating machinery including turbines, motors and pumps where individual channel displays are not required (closed equipment cabinets, unmanned sites, etc). Other measurement modules include displacement, expansion, temperature and speed in addition to the vibration monitoring options. This technology is also available as a single channel unit (ME9603) in a wall mounted enclosure for standalone applications.

DN2601/02 Vibration Monitoring and Protection unit

The DN26 range of DIN rail mountable vibration monitors are compatible with a range of transducer types to suite most vibration monitoring applications. This compact single channel unit offers dual level alarms (positive and negative going) in combination with 4-20mA outputs for PLC or DCS connection. The DN2601 is designed to work with a wide range of 2 or 3 wire accelerometers & velocity transducers to provide flexible monitoring and protection over a wide range of vibration parameters. The DN2602 is suitable for connection to API670 eddy current proximity probe systems for the measurement of peak shaft vibration.
