Sensonics at MICONEX 2026: Building Partnerships in Vibration Monitoring and Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation

Sensonics recently exhibited at MICONEX 2026, held in Hefei, China from 12–14 August, one of the longest-running and most established trade fairs for measurement, control and automation technology. The event brought together instrumentation and automation specialists, engineers and industry decision-makers from across the sector, and gave our team a valuable platform to showcase our vibration monitoring and machine protection expertise to a broad international audience.

Showcasing our vibration monitoring and TSI capabilities

At our stand, we highlighted the core of what we do best: protecting critical rotating machinery through precise, reliable measurement. Visitors had the chance to see our approach to:

  • Vibration monitoring — API 670-compliant machine protection systems designed for demanding industrial environments
  • Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation (TSI) — real-time monitoring of shaft vibration, position, speed and casing expansion for turbines and other critical rotating plant
  • Seismic monitoring and speed instrumentation — trip, record, replay and analyse capabilities for early detection of abnormal machine behaviour
  • Bespoke engineered condition monitoring solutions, tailored to the specific operational demands of power generation, oil & gas, and process industries

With over 50 years of experience supplying protection and monitoring equipment to critical rotating plant, our focus at MICONEX was on demonstrating how the right instrumentation not only collects data but gives operators the confidence to act on it, whether that's configuring alarms, trending machine condition over time, or triggering a shutdown before a small issue becomes a costly failure.

A platform for partnership and industry dialogue

Beyond the equipment on display, MICONEX gave us the chance to do something just as important: talk directly with the engineers, integrators and specifiers who work with this technology every day. Conversations at the stand ranged from specific application challenges to broader questions about where condition monitoring is heading as plants become more instrumented and data-driven.

These conversations matter are incredibly important. Sensonics has always worked closely with customers and partners to engineer solutions around real operational requirements rather than off-the-shelf assumptions, and events like MICONEX are where those relationships often start.

Sharing our perspective on the industry

We also used the event as an opportunity to contribute to the wider conversation on where industrial instrumentation is going — from the increasing demands placed on rotating machinery in energy and process applications, to the role reliable protection systems play in supporting uptime, safety and long-term asset health. It's a conversation we're keen to keep having well beyond the show floor.

Get in touch

If you visited us at MICONEX 2026 and want to continue the conversation, or if you weren't able to make it to Hefei but would like to discuss your vibration monitoring or turbine supervisory instrumentation requirements, we'd love to hear from you.
