COMPACT, AFFORDABLE PROTECTION FOR SMALL TO MEDIUM MACHINES
A new compact and cost-effective machinery protection monitor capable of monitoring two channels of bearing vibration, shaft vibration or shaft position has been introduced by SENSONICS. The DN26 G3 unit is a Din rail mountable module which has been designed specifically for machine monitoring and protection applications such as, fans, pumps, motors, centrifuges, turbines or any small to medium industrial machinery requiring reliable protection.

ATEX APPROVAL FOR SHAFT VIBRATION AND THRUST TRANSMITTERS
Machine Protection and Condition monitoring specialists SENSONICS has enhanced its range of DN803X series shaft vibration and thrust position transmitters following approval for intrinsically safe applications. The DN8031 (vibration) and DN8033 (thrust position) proximity probe systems are now suitable for Ex ia IIC T4 applications when used in conjunction with Sensonics ATEX approved range of AECP proximity probes and AEXC extension cables.

July 2011 PROXIMITY PROBE WITH REAR AND SIDE VIEW TARGET PROTECTION
Condition monitoring specialists SENSONICS have added a new option to their established range of proximity probes which virtually eliminates the detrimental effects on measurements caused by both side and rear targets. The PRSVBeam proximity probe has an innovative tip design which overcomes the problems associated with traditional probe designs, such as poor accuracy, system non-linearities and extended set-up time.

ACCELEROMETERS FOR WIND TURBINE APPLICATIONS
The established range of SENSONICS PZS accelerometers have been extended to provide a vibration monitoring solution for wind turbine applications. The proven shear mode constructed PZS accelerometer series have been supplied for many applications, including wind turbine monitoring over the past 5 years. This enhancement of the product range provides a frequency response down to 0.1Hz and permits effective monitoring of both the wind turbine main shaft and input gearbox bearings below rotational speeds of 20RPM.

THRUST AND ROD DROP DIRECT TO DCS
We have enhanced our range of DN monitors with the introduction of our DN8033 thrust and rod drop transmitter. This unit is designed to measure shaft axial or rod position on a range of rotating plant. The 4-20mA loop powered module provides easy integration with either the local machine PLC or a plant wide DCS since it is powered through the measurement loop. The unit operates in conjunction with Sensonics Senturian range of 8mm diameter proximity probes, offering a maximum measurement range of ± 1mm.

NEW HIGH TEMPERATURE ACCELEROMETER FOR GAS TURBINES
A vibration transducer capable of operating in excess of 450°C is now available from Sensonics. The PZEHT offers ICP type connectivity by separating the high temperature element from the signal conditioning electronics, connecting by means of a hard line cable.
