Temperature Monitoring
Sensonics offer temperature monitoring either standalone or in conjunction with our range of vibration and displacement measurement systems. The monitoring of bearing and motor winding temperature alongside machine vibration provides reliable condition monitoring on a range of critical rotating plant. We offer a selection of temperature monitoring equipment for use with RTD and thermocouple sensors designed to suit most applications.
For use with temperature monitoring applications our dual mode PZST4 transducer offers the latest shear mode accelerometer technology combined with a temperature sensor in a single stud mounted package.

Sentry API670 Monitoring and Protection System
The Sensonics API670 compliant Sentry range of rack mounted equipment has been developed to provide a one-stop shop for all your measurement requirements. A four channel temperature module is available within this equipment series capable of interfacing to a broad range of temperature sensors. The monitor provides independent shutdown protection in addition to analogue and digital interfaces to the main control system for the trending of measurements and reporting of alarms The Sentry monitoring system is particularly suitable for large turbine generator sets where the temperature monitoring of bearings forms part of the essential Turbine Supervisory System.

Aegis Monitoring and Protection System
The Aegis system offers similar temperature monitoring capabilities to Sentry but in a lower cost rack mounted package. A single channel temperature module is available within this equipment series for interfacing to RTD type temperature sensors. The system utilises a shared display located in the instrument rack with a single channel card for each of the required measurement channels. The Aegis monitoring system is suitable for a range of rotating machinery including turbines, motors and pumps where individual channel displays are not required (closed equipment cabinets, unmanned sites, etc). Other measurement modules include vibration, displacement and speed in addition to the temperature monitoring options.

DN26 Dual Vibration &Temperature Monitoring
The DN26 series of DIN rail mountable dual function monitors are compatible with a range of accelerometers and RTD temperature sensors. This compact dual channel unit offers dual level alarms in combination with 4-20mA outputs for PLC or DCS connection. The DN2604 is suitable for direct connection to our PZST4 dual sensor offering a smart solution for vibration and temperature monitoring. Other measurement modules in the DN 26 range include vibration, displacement and speed.
